Clubs Sin’s April Show

A little Lesson on Voodoo:
My show is about Erzulie Dantor. Goddess of love, romance, art, jealousy, passion, and sex. She is the patron loa of lesbian and bisexual women. She loves women fiercely, and will defend them to the death. Beauty, love, and sensuality are her Creations.

In Haiti, It’s an honour to be entered and “ridden” by a Loa, or spirit. These rituals are commonplace: Voodoo is the dominant religion. “One common saying is that Haitians are 70 percent Catholic, 30 percent Protestant, and 100 percent voodoo,”
Voodoo, means “spirit,” it is also one of the world’s oldest ancestral, nature-honouring traditions. “Voodoo doesn’t have a sacred text, a church, or a hierarchical structure of leaders, but it is a religion in the same way as Judaism or Christianity is.”
Some anthropologists estimate that voodoo’s roots are from Benin—formerly Dahomey—West Africa. It may go back 6,000 years. Today an estimated 60 million people practice Voodoo worldwide.
In 2003 Jean-Bertrand Aristide sanctioned voodoo as an officially recognized religion.

About the author

DominaErzulie

I am a black professional Domina from Montreal. Domination is a passion, so whatever activities I do, you can be sure that it is only because I enjoy it! There's little chance that I fit the profile of a ''typical dominatrix'' because I don't have an austere or severe look and I always have a big smile on my face during a session... However don't let that fool you. I'm a true sadist and I'm only that happy because...well inflicting pain gets my juices flowing... Feel free to interpret that any way you like! ;)

I’m looking forward to see that show! I’ve always been curious about voodoo rituals… seeing it incorporated with fetish or domination makes me go “hmmmm”…

  2. Kolan Blanc says:

In Voodoo is there a loa that looks after men?

  3. “The three Erzulie” (Erzulie Freda Dahomey, Erzulie Dantor and “la Grande” Erzulie) all three protects of men. However it is usually Erzulie Freda Dahomey (because she’s a flirt and adores men) and la Grande” Erzulie (the mother) that are the protector of men no matter what their behaviour and/or their treatments toward women.
Erzulie Dantor however will only protect men that love women and that think of women as their equal and/or their superior. In another word if a man treats his woman badly he is most likely to get in trouble with Erzulie Dantor.

Then I am “safe” with you, sort of… :-)

    Thank you for explaining.
